We are Croyde Bay's oldest surf school and now the biggest watersports specialist company in Devon. Once you've tried Point Breaks you won't want to go anywhere else!

Learn to surf at some of the UK’s top surf spots and improve your skills - from beginner to competition level. Fancy an adrenalin packed weekend of multi activities? Reach the extreme with Point Breaks and surf at Croyde or Putsborough, then wakeboard or waterski, go coaststeering, try our new kayak paddle skis, or ride the superscreamer behind our FAST speedboat!

Our Instructors

All Point Breaks instructors are fully qualified in the field in which they are teaching. For your added safety they are also fully qualified beach lifeguards. We teach surfing at all levels and we teach waterskiing and wakeboarding to beginners.

Current qualifications include:

Full beach lifeguard with Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS)
Level one, two and three British Surf Association (BSA) Instructor
British Water Ski Federation (BWSF) Wake board instructor qualification
Royal Yachting Association (RYA) level one and two boat handling
International ski boat driver award. (BWSF)
Gold level water ski instructors award (BWSF)
First Aid at work certificate
VHF radio certificate
Instructors and the law certificate (NCF award)
Point Breaks is a fully accredited surf school with the British Surfing Association.
